加热吸附剂捕集阱是一种简单且经济的气相色谱样品预浓缩方法。加热吸附剂捕集阱由一根装有吸附剂的不锈钢管组成。当样品通过吸附剂管吸入时，目标分析物会被吸附在吸附剂床上。然后，加热吸附剂捕集阱并旋转阀门，使分析物解吸到载气流中，载气流沉积在分析柱中进行分离，最终到达检测器。
每个捕集阱都连接在一个10通气体进样阀的采样环上。必须订购加热捕集阱和阀箱。加热捕集阱安装在气相色谱仪左侧阀箱的管道内。
