QGA-MS | Online Gas Mass Spectrometer for Catalysis, Fermentation & Fuel Cell

QGA-MS — Online Gas Analysis for Real-Time Process Control

The QGA-MS is a quadrupole mass spectrometer designed for continuous online gas analysis in industrial and research environments. From catalysis studies to fermentation monitoring, it delivers quantitative gas composition data with second-level time resolution — no chromatographic separation, no sample preparation, direct real-time measurement.

Applications include temperature-programmed desorption (TPD), bioreactor monitoring, fuel cell electrochemistry, environmental emissions testing, and chemical process control. Configurable mass range (1-300 u), detector options (Faraday/SEM/Dual), and heated sample lines (up to 300°C) adapt to diverse gas streams from light gases to heavy organics.

Key Specifications

  • Mass Range: 1-100 u (QGA-100), 1-200 u (QGA-200), 1-300 u (QGA-300)
  • Detector Options: Faraday cup (100% duty cycle), SEM (4×10⁻¹³ Pa limit), Dual mode (10 orders range)
  • Sample Line: Ambient to 150°C standard, 300°C high-temp option
  • Response Time: <1 second (typical), configurable for process dynamics
  • Detection Limit: ppb level (SEM), sub-ppm (Faraday)
  • Operating Pressure: 1 atm inlet, <10⁻⁴ Pa analyzer (turbomolecular pump)
