Carrier Gas Purification for GC Systems | NWSPEC GC Accessory Series
The Gas Purifiers and Traps remove common pollutants such as oxygen, moisture, and hydrocarbon compounds from carrier gas for GC. Purifying the carrier gas with oxygen and moisture traps can extend the lifespan of the chromatographic column and protect your instrument. Meanwhile, removing hydrocarbon compounds helps improve detector baseline stability and sensitivity. The materials filled inside are strictly tested to ensure that even if the gas supply cylinder is of the 99.995% grade, the trap outlet can reach the "chromatographic grade" of 99.9999% for the carrier gas. All traps are available in 1/8" and 1/4" fitting sizes.

Via standard fitting
System Integration: NWSPEC Gas Purifiers and Traps connect directly to GC carrier gas lines via 1/8" or 1/4" fittings. The 750cc Universal Purifier is recommended for continuous monitoring systems (P5 rack GC) and high-throughput laboratories, while the 200cc Mini Gas Trap is ideal for single GC setups and portable systems (P6). All purifiers are maintenance-free until saturation indicators show replacement is needed.
