Handheld LIBS Ore Analyzer | Field Lithium, Nickel & Cobalt Detection | 1-Second Results

LIBS-ORE 1064 LIBS · 1064nm · FIELD — Laser Ore Analysis for Critical Minerals

LIBS-ORE 1064 brings Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) to mineral exploration — 1-second ore grade analysis for lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese in the field. The 1064nm high-energy LIBS laser penetrates weathered rock surfaces that defeat other analyzers, delivering direct Li, Ni, Co quantification without sample transport to laboratories.

Why LIBS for ores? Traditional XRF cannot detect lithium (atomic number 3) — the most critical battery metal. LIBS uses laser plasma spectroscopy to analyze all elements including light metals (Li, Be, Mg) that XRF misses completely. The LIBS plasma reaches 10,000°C, vaporizing any mineral matrix for complete elemental disclosure in one laser shot.

LIBS Technology for Minerals

  • LIBS Principle: Laser plasma atomic emission spectroscopy
  • 1064nm LIBS Laser: Nd:YAG high-energy for mineral matrix penetration
  • LIBS Elements: Ni, Co, Mn, Li, P, Fe, C + customizable LIBS curves
  • LIBS Speed: 1 second — real-time exploration decisions
  • LIBS Detection: 0.05-0.15% — ore grade discrimination
  • LIBS Sample: Powder or solid — no preparation
  • LIBS Weight: 2.3 kg — portable laser analysis
  • LIBS Battery: ≥4 hours — hot-swappable for surveys
