Built for Rare Earth Element Analysis
The 1-meter focal length optical path physically separates closely spaced spectral lines further than any short-path ICP system. This is the critical advantage for REE analysis — where dense lanthanide emission lines and strong matrix backgrounds make spectral interference the #1 source of error.
The 3600 lines/mm grating (9 pm resolution) is sufficient for most REE and rare earth partition analysis, covering the full lanthanide series including La, Ce, Pr, Nd. The 4320 lines/mm option is available for the most demanding high-interference matrices.
No washout delays: Unlike ICP-MS, switch directly between REE partition samples (La/Ce/Pr/Nd ratios) and routine samples — same protocol, zero memory effect delays.
