Why ICP-10

Dual Analysis Modes

Choose between 2-minute rapid screening or 6-minute comprehensive analysis. Full-spectrum direct reading capability delivers complete elemental profiles in a single run.

Compact Integration

Smaller footprint than conventional ICP systems while maintaining 1-meter optical path. Optimized integration design maximizes laboratory space efficiency.

Configurable Optics

Four holographic grating options (2400-4320 lines/mm) let you optimize resolution versus range. Match the instrument to your element requirements, not the other way around.

Environmental Protection

New inflation device for optical chamber prevents moisture damage to precision components. High corrosion-resistant materials ensure long-term stability in demanding environments.

Select Your Configuration

Configuration Wavelength Range Resolution Best For
ICP-10-2400 160 – 800 nm 16 pm
  • Full spectrum coverage including K, Na
  • Environmental monitoring (alkali metals)
  • Food safety applications
ICP-10-3600 160 – 530 nm 9 pm
  • Metal smelting analysis
  • Mineral analysis (no alkali needs)
  • Enhanced resolution for transition metals
ICP-10-4320 160 – 442.5 nm 7 pm
  • Maximum resolution requirements
  • Complex geological matrices
  • Research and method development
Resolution Selection Principle Higher grating line density improves resolution but narrows wavelength coverage. ICP-10 lets you configure this trade-off precisely: 4320 lines/mm delivers 7 pm resolution for line-rich spectra, while 2400 lines/mm provides full 160-800 nm coverage for comprehensive screening.

Three-Step Selection Guide

1

Define Your Element Requirements

Do you need Alkali Metals (K, Na) or Long-Wave Elements?

If YES → Select ICP-10-2400 (160-800 nm). These elements emit beyond 530 nm and require full-spectrum coverage.

If NO (transition metals only: Fe, Cu, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn) → Proceed to Step 2.

2

Assess Matrix Complexity

Simple matrices (aqueous solutions, clean minerals) → ICP-10-3600 (9 pm resolution) provides optimal performance.

Complex matrices (heavy industrial samples, rare earth mixtures, high spectral interference) → ICP-10-4320 (7 pm resolution) for maximum separation capability.

Select Sample Introduction Kit

KIT-AQUEOUS — Standard solutions, environmental water, food digests. General-purpose concentric nebulizer.

KIT-HIGH-SOLIDS — Mineral digests, metallurgical samples with high dissolved solids. Enhanced tolerance design.

KIT-ORGANIC — Organic solvents, oil analysis, chemical industry samples. Cooled spray chamber and specialized nebulizer.

Recommended Configuration

ICP-10-3600 + KIT-AQUEOUS

Optimized for general industrial and environmental laboratories. The 160-530 nm range covers all common metallic elements (Fe, Cu, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn, Pb, Cd) with 9 pm resolution sufficient for most regulatory compliance testing. 2-minute rapid analysis mode supports high sample throughput for routine monitoring.

Application-Specific Recommendations

Environmental Monitoring

ICP-10-2400 + KIT-AQUEOUS

Full spectrum coverage for EPA methods requiring alkali metal detection (Na, K in water). 16 pm resolution adequate for diluted environmental matrices. Rapid 2-minute screening for high-volume monitoring stations.

Metal Smelting & Alloys

ICP-10-3600 + KIT-HIGH-SOLIDS

Enhanced resolution for precise alloy composition verification. High-solids kit handles concentrated acid digests. Wide dynamic range covers major constituents to trace impurities simultaneously.

Mineral Analysis

ICP-10-4320 + KIT-HIGH-SOLIDS

Maximum 7 pm resolution for complex geological matrices with line-rich spectra. Handles rare earth elements and refractory minerals with superior spectral separation.

Food Safety & Agriculture

ICP-10-2400 + KIT-AQUEOUS

Full spectrum for nutritional labeling (Na, K, Ca, Mg) and toxic metal screening (Pb, Cd, As). Automated control reduces operator variability for compliance testing.
