Fluorescence Detector

Fluoro-Tec Fluorescence Detector in excellent overall condition. Very little use during its lifetime as a demo instrument. Comes with a one year warranty on parts and labor.

SPECIFICATIONS

Detector 931B photomultiplier tube, with S-4 response (300 to 650nm), others optional.

Light Source 4 watt mercury vapor lamp (254 to 546nm). Tungsten lamp optional.

Standard Filters 1" round or square. Furnished with Corning 7-54 Excitation (254 to 380nm, UV bandpass) and Schott KV 450 Emission (450nm sharp cutoff). Other filters are available as options.

Flow Cells Furnished with 70ul Suprasil quartz cell. 18ul and other sizes available.

Cuvettes 10x75mm or 6x50 Pyrex cuvettes in easily-changed adapters available as options.

Wavelength Range 254 to 546nm with mercury lamp. 400 to 850 with tungsten / halogen lamp.

Signal Output Two analog outputs for recorders and data processors: 0 to 150 mv adjustable, and 0 to 1.00 v fixed. Digital display of relative fluorescence.

Range Precision sensitivity adjustment in four steps of 0.1, 1.0, 10, and 100 relative fluorescence units fullscale. Fine sensitivity vernier continuously adjusts sensitivity over a three-fold range.

Blank Subtract Four levels of Blank Subtract with 10 turn dial for fine adjustment.

Power Supply high voltage supply to the Photomultiplier Tube has five fixed steps of adjustment: 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900 volts.

Power requirements 105-130, or 200-260 volts, 50 / 60 Hz, 25 watts.
