The injection port gasket is used to maintain a leak-free seal below the injection port gasket cap, ensuring no leakage even after multiple repeated injections. The shallow depression in the middle of the gasket guides the injection needle to pass through the injection port and into the capillary tube, minimizing damage to the needle and ensuring injection consistency. The loss characteristics and temperature have been optimized (BTO) gaskets are specifically designed for operation at temperatures up to 400 °C and do not lose substances to the sample flow path. They are very suitable for use with low-loss mass spectrometry capillary columns and have been pre-aged, ready to use immediately.
