0.015mm FTIR, KBr Circular Amalgam cell for FTIR

Soluble in water and alcohol. Slightly soluble in ether. Fairly good resistance to thermal & mechanical shock. Hygroscopic. (48,800-388cm)

The Circular Amalgam Cell comes pre-assembled and ready to use with the Circular Demountable Cell Holder (P/N 6500S). They provide an inexpensive alternative to the permanent sealed cell. This cell consists of one drilled window and one undrilled window amalgamated together with a metal spacer of a specific path length and then the assembly is amalgamated to the Needle Plate (the plate containing the Luer-LokTM filling ports).

Important:
When ordering Circular Amalgam Cells for the Dispersive holder use the "SD", otherwise for the FTIR holder use the "S".
