This Potassium Bromide 13x2mm cell window is soluble in water, alcohol, & slightly soluble in ether.
Potassium Bromide has a fairly good resistance to thermal & mechanical shock, but is hygroscopic.
The working wavelength range for KBr is 48,800 - 388 cm-1.
