LIBS-CARBON-1064 Handheld Analyzer

Instant carbon testing and direct alloy grade identification for solid metals.

LIBS-CARBON-1064 is a handheld Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) analyzer designed for rapid field operation. Measure carbon directly in solid metals at the point of inspection in ~1 second with zero sample preparation required for flat surfaces.

Verify carbon steel and alloy grades on-site. Unlike conventional XRF analyzers, LIBS directly quantifies carbon and critical light elements (C, N, O, Li, Be, B) without laboratory transport or X-ray radiation risks.

Industrial Applications

Carbon Steel Verification

Verify carbon concentration and distinguish carbon steel grades directly on finished parts, stock material, and structural components.

Casting & Quality Control

Identify carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel grades during casting, receiving inspection, and final quality assurance.

Scrap Metal Sorting

Perform on-site sorting and precise grade segregation of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap without off-site laboratory delays.

Factory Line Inspection

Inspect incoming stock and outgoing products with rapid carbon quantification directly on the production floor.
