The D2 is a calibration accessory that prepares precise gas standard samples for GC system validation. It supports both mass flow controller (MFC) and differential pressure dilution methods, achieving ratios up to 20,000:1 for trace-level calibration—eliminating manual gas mixing errors and standard gas waste.

System Integration: The D2 connects directly to GC calibration gas inlets via EVENT/BCD synchronization. When paired with the P5 rack GC for continuous monitoring, it enables fully automated 7×24 calibration cycles. The differential pressure mode's 1,200ml coated buffer tank eliminates standard gas waste by filling only the precise amount needed for each calibration point.
