1.This ZnS (Zinc Sulfide) 13x2mm cell window is insoluble in water, normal acids and bases. ZnS reacts to strong oxidizing agents, but has good resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.

The working wavelength range for ZnS is 17,000 - 722 cm-1.

Part Number: 500J1

2.This Potassium chloride 13x2mm cell window is less soluble than NaCl with lower reflection losses. Potassium Chloride has an extended transmission range and is Hygroscopic.

The working wavelength range for KCl is 55,600 - 439 cm-1.

Part Number: 500B1

3.This SO2 (Silicon Dioxide) 13x2mm cell window is made from infrared grade SiO2 and is insoluble in water and slightly soluble in bases.

SiO2 extends into the near infrared region and has a working wavelength range of 50,000 - 2,677 cm-1.

Part Number: 500N1

4.This Potassium Bromide 13x2mm cell window is soluble in water, alcohol, & slightly soluble in ether.

Potassium Bromide has a fairly good resistance to thermal & mechanical shock, but is hygroscopic.

The working wavelength range for KBr is 48,800 - 388 cm-1.

Part Number: 500C1

5.This Sodium Chloride 13x2mm cell window is soluble in water and glycerine, and slightly soluble in alcohol. Sodium Chloride is fairly resistant to thermal and mechanical shock.

The working wavelength range for NaCl is 52,600 - 584 cm-1.

Part Number: 500A1

6.This Zinc Selenide 13x2mm cell window is insoluble in water but slightly soluble in acids.  ZnSe has a high resistance to chemical attack.  Organic solvents, dilute acids and bases have no effect on ZnSe.

Zinc Selenide is ideal for ATR work because of its low absorption in the infrared region.

The working wavelength range for ZnSe is 15,000 - 508 cm-1.

Part Number: 500K1
